Isagenix Donates Meal Replacement Bars and Nutrition Shakes to Hurricane Sandy Victims

CHANDLER, Ariz., Nov. 7, 2012 -- Isagenix International, LLC today announced plans to immediately donate 50,000 IsaLean Meal Replacement bars and shakes to victims of Hurricane Sandy throughout the northeast United States. The Company is also activating its network of local Associates to encourage additional donations of the Company's nutritious, shelf-stable foods to those in need.

In coordination with several groups, including the Fairfield Health Department/Emergency Community Center (CT), the Company will donate its meal replacement products to storm victims in the hardest-hit areas from Connecticut to Cape May County.

"In the wake of Sandy's devastation, we are seeing so many individuals and families without access to food or the ability to prepare meals," said Lieutenant James Perez, Public Affairs Officer for the Fairfield Police Department. "We are doing all that we can to provide food, clothing, shelter – even hope – to these folks, and Isagenix's meal replacement bars and shakes will make a big difference."

Isagenix has more than 30,000 Associates on the ground in the northeast region, many of whom were themselves affected by Hurricane Sandy, and are eager to mobilize around providing meal replacement bars and shakes for storm victims in their own communities and beyond.

"Our thoughts are with those who are still suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and we are proud to work with this network of organizations driving relief efforts in the areas hardest-hit by the storm," said Isagenix Chairman and President Jim Coover. "At Isagenix, we feel it is our responsibility as neighbors and citizens to do what we can to share our resources and meal replacement products to help alleviate the hunger and hardship of those trying to rebuild."
