Herbalife Names Colombe M. Nicholas to Board of Directors LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 2006--Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) today announced the appointment of Colombe M. Nicholas to its board of directors at its 2006 annual shareholders meeting. Nicholas joins 10 current members of the Board, which is chaired by Peter Castleman, president of Whitney & Co., LLC.

In March 2006, the company announced an early move to comply with NYSE standards of board independence with the appointment of two new independent directors, David D. Halbert and Valeria Rico, allowing the company to meet the requirements nine months early.

For over two decades, Nicholas has been a preeminent figure in the fashion and apparel industries. Since 2002, she has served as a consultant with Financo Global Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the fashion industry that identifies domestic and international expansion opportunities. Previously, from 1996-1999, Nicholas held the post of president and chief executive officer of The Anne Klein company. From 1993 to 1996, Nicholas was the president and chief executive officer of Orr Felt Company of Ohio. Before that, she served as president and chief operating officer of Giorgio Armani Fashion Corp., from 1991 - 1993. She also served as the interim president and chief operating officer of Health-Tex prior to its sale to Vanity Fair Group. From 1980 - 1989, Nicholas served as president and chief executive officer of Christian Dior, New York.

Nicholas also serves on the board of directors of The Mills Corporation, Tandy Brands Accessories, Inc. and Oakley, Inc. and is a trustee at the University of Dayton, Ohio. She holds an honorary doctorate from Bryant College of Rhode Island, a doctor of jurisprudence of University of Cincinnati College of Law, and a bachelor of arts degree from University of Dayton.
