Herbalife Family Foundation Launches New Casa Herbalife Program

LOS ANGELES, Nov 05, 2013 -- The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a non-profit organization committed to helping vulnerable children, announced today the opening of a new Casa Herbalife program in Mexico. This is the 21st Casa Herbalife program in Mexico and has been established with Casa Amiga de la Obrera in Tampico, extending nutrition support to 2,000 children in the region on a daily basis.

The launch of this Casa Herbalife program in Mexico reflects Herbalife's ongoing commitment to improving the nutrition and lives of vulnerable children in Mexico.

Casa Amiga de la Obrera is a community organization that provides pre-school education and day-care services to children aged two to five years old in the regions of Tampico, Tampico Alto, Ciudad Madero, El Moralillo, Tantoyuca and Paso de Humo.

There are currently more than 95 Casa Herbalife programs worldwide that provide financial resources and volunteer support to non-profit organizations in support of healthy nutrition for vulnerable children.

The Casa Herbalife program was established in 2005 to help bring good nutrition to children living in orphanages, after school centers, and other non-profit facilities. After the initial financial grants made by HFF, the organizations receive local financial and volunteer support from Herbalife independent distributors, as well as corporate employees.
