Mannatech Announces New Patent Grant
COPPELL, Texas, Oct 31, 2011 -- Mannatech, Incorporated, the leading innovator and provider of nutritional supplements and skin care products based on Real Food Technology(R) solutions, announced a new patent grant today. A Notice of Grant of the patent entitled "Compositions of Plant Carbohydrates as Dietary Supplements" was published in the Brazilian Industrial Property Journal on October 18, 2011. This brings the total number of patents related to our Ambrotose(R) technology to 52.

Mannatech currently holds more than 70 patents that have been issued worldwide for the technology relating to Ambrotose, Ambrotose AO(R), GI-ProBalance(R) and PhytoMatrix(R) product formulations. Many of Mannatech's products are based on Real Food Technology solutions, which provide consumers with products that contain standardized levels of natural and plant-sourced nutrients. Food-sourced ingredients are chosen from those scientifically proven to most benefit the human body.
